The overall focus of my work embodies memory loss. My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s, my mother is declining into the last stages of Lewy Body Dementia, and there is a continuous fear for my brain health. I am interested in revealing-- and sometimes unraveling-- struggles through my creative practice by
exploring and presenting occasionally uncomfortable and challenging issues, often with humor and irony. Some of my tools are language, image, color, composition, message, and structure.
